‘The Four’s Evvie Mckinney Welcomes Baby Girl
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Four: Battle For Stardom first season winner, Evvie McKinney, announced the arrival of her daughter in an Instagram post on July 5. This is McKinney’s first child with husband Everett Anderson after much anticipation, Instagram posts, and YouTube videos.
“On July 5, 2021 I gave the fastest natural birth to my 7lb baby girl, Isabella Marie Anderson 🤍,” said McKinney in her instagram post. “Literally, within 25 minutes of arriving at the birthing center, she was here!”
McKinney talks about having a quick, natural birth within her instagram post. The Motown gospel singer wasn’t afraid to show her love and appreciation to God within a YouTube video about her daughter. Along with God, she also thanked her husband for loving her deeply through every stage of her pregnancy.
“Isabella was here in 25 mins of getting to the hospital,” said Anderson in his post. “I mean, she was joking with me between contractions, then walking around like ain’t nothing happen! Incredible, marvelous, spectacular or magnificent, couldn’t TOUCH the words to describe you.. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 ”
How Superstition Helped Predict the Baby’s Gender
McKinney and Anderson did not keep their first bundle of joy secret from the public for long. They literally announced their pregnancy on YouTube when McKinney was 10 weeks along. The baby content didn’t stop there.
McKinney and Anderson tested out old wives tales before their gender reveal. Even before the superstitions began, McKinney said that she thought they were having a girl. In the end of the experiment, they had five tallies for the baby being a girl and six for the baby being a boy.
Although the superstitious tests showed the baby as a boy, McKinney knew deep down that she was having a girl and on June 14 it was confirmed.
We couldn’t be more excited for these new parents!
