Talent Recap welcomes team members
Talent Recap is created and run by fans, for fans. Therefore, we welcome any fans of any TV talent show around the globe to join our team and become a contributing member in our team.
Who can join The Recap Team?
Any fan that is good at what they do. You don’t have to be a professional journalist, videographer or designer, as long as we like your work and it fits what we’re looking for, we invite you to join. You can be a student, an artist, a freelance writer, a father, mother, a hedge fund manager or a retired military officer, we don’t care. As long as you are 18 years or older, a fan of one of the shows we cover and proficient in English – you can get approved to join our team.
What shows do you we cover?
At this time, we cover America’s/Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice USA, The X Factor UK/USA, The Four and American Idol. We are looking to grow our coverage of other shows and other countries. So, if you are a fan of any talent contest reality show other than those listed above and would like to blog about that show, we encourage you to contact us. Perhaps you can be the bridge we are looking for to add that show.
Wait, there’s something else?
1. You should know up front that anything you write for us, may very well be edited or rejected all together. If you can’t handle constructive criticism, you may want to reconsider joining us.
2. We love content with an opinion. Since we are fan based, we like to have fans opinions represented in our content. While we do want to keep it professional and we do edit our writers, we don’t censor them.
Ok. So how do I apply?
Very simple. Fill out this short form and tell us about yourself—your age, your location, your job (or previous jobs), hobbies, a link to your social media pages, and why you want to join our team. Then upload 2 short articles you have written about the show you are a fan of. The articles must cover most recent news or items of interest in that particular show. (Have fun while doing it and don’t shy away from opinions or attitude. Just be yourself and write in your style!) That’s it. We’ll take it from there!
