Who can submit?
Any fan that is good at what they do is welcome to contribute to Talent Recap. We’re open to eager and talented writers who are passionate about talent shows and talent show news. New writers, or those looking to dip their toes, are encouraged to submit ideas for consideration.
-
What shows do we cover?
We cover America’s/Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice, The X Factor UK/USA, The Masked Singer, The Masked Dancer, Lego Masters, RuPaul’s Drag Race, American Idol, and more. As we’re always growing, if you’re a fan of any reality talent competition show other than those listed above and would like to write about it, contact us to share your ideas. Perhaps you will be the bridge we need to add a new show!

Before you submit a pitch
1. You should know up front that anything you write for us may be rejected and will be edited. If you are not open to constructive criticism, you may want to reconsider submitting a pitch.
2. We love content with an opinion. Since we are fan-based, we like to have fan opinions represented in our content. While we want to keep our content professional, and we do edit our writers, we don’t censor them.
-
How do I pitch?
Once you’ve checked our website for any previous related content, email your resume and a writing sample to jobs@talentrecap.com along with a 2-3 sentence pitch. Articles must be related to talent shows and/or talent show news and written in AP style.
We accept listicles, features, breaking news, investigative articles, music reviews, and more. If you have more than one idea, feel free to send multiple pitches in one email! An editor will contact you as soon as possible if we’re interested in your piece.
