What Has Sara James Been Up To Since ‘AGT’?

In 2022, Sara James convinced Simon Cowell to give her the Golden Buzzer with her rendition of “Lovely” by Billie Eilish. Today, she continues to work on her dreams of becoming a big star in the music arena. Let’s find out what this teenage singer has been up to since America’s Got Talent season 17.
James hails from a small town in Poland. Back in 2021, she represented her country in Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, France, finishing second place overall. Yet, she’s most notable for her participation in AGT where she reached the Finale.
Sara James Has Released Studio Versions of Her AGT Songs
A month before she finished her journey on AGT, James released a music single in Polish, “Taka Sama.” Her creations were further explored after the show’s Finale. She’s collaborated with Spotify through Spotify Singles. With that, she was able to re-record her previous single, “My Wave” and put a fancy spin to it. She also covered Billie Eilish’s “Lovely” — the song she sang during her AGT audition.
Based on her recent releases, it seems that the Polish teenager intends to record all the songs she performed during her run in AGT. Last November, she released her rendition to Elton John’s “Rocket Man,” which was her song choice during the Semifinals. Days after that, she issued her Finals song, “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush.
As of writing, James hasn’t yet announced anything about “Let’s Get It Started” by Black Eyed Peas. Be that as it may, she’s treated fans with a holiday single entitled “Lovely Christmas.”
She is Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador
For those who may not know, James is currently a Spotify EQUAL Ambassadress, amplifying artistic works of women in the world. By the end of year 2022, she’s celebrated the huge milestones she obtained as a Spotify Artist. Impressively, she’s had 11.5 million streams and 1.7 million listens across 177 countries.
Furthermore, James is also the top artist of Spotify EQUAL Global, becoming the youngest and most listened among their pack.
Aside from these achievements, James has also unlocked her first performance in the USA after AGT season 17. In addition, she’s done one song number in Las Vegas, Nevada by invitation of a health organization.
Sara James is Returning for AGT All-Stars
Interestingly, James is one of the 60 talented acts competing in AGT All-Stars. Numerous singing acts will grace the said show, and we’re yet to see if James will stand out among this pool of singers. Nonetheless, with Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer under her belt, she’s surely one of the artists to look forward to in the spin-off series.
