‘The Masked Singer’ Week 4 Recap: Another Shocking Celebrity Reveal!
Reading Time: 4 minutes
The Masked Singer returned for another exciting night of performances and clues! Hopefully after this episode, we’ll be closer to solving who the Rabbit, Alien, Raven, Poodle, and Bee are. They will all be singing to keep their masks on another week!
Here’s a recap of what happened on the fourth episode of The Masked Singer:

The Rabbit
Clues: The Rabbit claims he knocked it out of the amusement park. He then welcomed us to his playground “where I worked as a little bunny.” When he was young, he sought fame and everyone wanted a piece of him. The Rabbit found safety in a group, but felt boxed in. He loves getting to cook up something new every week, then offers carrots in a hot dog bun to the camera? Something is off about this Rabbit.
Performance: For his second performance, the Rabbit sang “Wake Me Up” by Avicii. He brought his usual energy and showed off some Southern twang. But considering that’s true to the original, we wouldn’t read too much into it. His performance as great though! The Rabbit definitely has a good voice and some experience singing.
Judge’s Guesses: JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts

The Alien
Clues: Performing in the mask was harder than the Alien thought it would be. The critiques reminded her of when she was young, before anyone knew her or her family’s name. She says you may think she’s “out of fashion” but she’s here to rise above all that. The Alien is then shown with a crystal ball. She closes by saying, “tonight I’m going to push myself to the limit.” When asked by the judges, the Alien says she’s a quadruple threat.
Performance: The Alien sang “Lovefool” by The Cardigans. Her performance was solid, but nothing outstanding. Her voice is soft so it makes it hard to distinguish. That doesn’t help with any guessing either!
Judge’s Guesses: Paula Abdul, someone from the Jackson family, a Kardashian, someone from Fifth Harmony, Paris Hilton

The Raven
Clues: The Raven confronted the loss in her last performance, like a cloud started to part. She was once the loneliest bird and no one recognized her beauty. But years ago, a man came and took her away from her flock. The shot is of a TV with “1968” on it. The Raven says she cried “tears of love” into the Hudson River. Later, she reveals she has not been in anything with Dr. Ken.
Performance: Her “emotional” performance was of “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga. I didn’t understand all the judges talking about her heart in the song, but she’s a great performer! Her voice is nice and she’s picking fun songs to showcase it.
Judge’s Guesses: Sally Jesse Raphael, Kelly Ripa, Sherri Shepherd

The Poodle
Clues: The Poodle likes being in a mask because she could be someone you’ve known for years and you’d have no idea! She is shown blowdrying her hair and says she has to be “flawless to do this role justice.” Whenever she wants to practice new material, she turns to her friends! The Poodle asks “so what’s the verdict?”, making a second judge-based clue. She is soaring to new heights despite it being her biggest fear. After her performance, she says she has been fired multiple times.
Performance:Â The Poodle sang “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper for her second performance. She started on a swing in the air, which made an epic beginning! And her voice was alright too, singing the classic Cyndi Lauper hit and karaoke favorite.
Judge’s Guesses: Kellyanne Conway, Jillian Michaels, Kathy Griffin, Omarosa

The Bee
Clues: The Bee says the show gives her a challenge because she usually watches faces and that lifts her up. The package shows peaches splashing and honey in the background. She dances 70’s style throughout the video, with two men in suits next to her. She also picks petals off flower on a bed. The Bee has to be willing to “flip the script.” When asked for one more clue, she says “take me to court.”
Performance: The Bee closed the show covering “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars, another newer song. Considering the Bee is an older singer, she is sure tackling some big names! Maybe because she’s a is name herself? She is clearly a pro and gives the performance of the night. This isn’t a surprise though, since she did that her first time around too!
Judge’s Guesses: Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, one of the Supremes

The Poodle is Revealed
After all the performances, the judges and audience voted for who would be unmasked. The Poodle was chosen to be eliminated! The judges guessed Judge Judy, Jillian Michaels, Kathy Griffin, Chelsea Handler, and Melissa Rivers. When she finally took her mask off, the Poodle was revealed to be…Margaret Cho! She is a stand-up comedian and LGBT activist from San Francisco.
Next week, we’ll see the Monster, Lion, Peacock, and Unicorn perform again. But who will be unmasked then? Tune in to The Masked Singer with us next week to find out!
