‘The Masked Singer’ Spoilers, Clues & Predictions: Who Is The Rabbit?
The Masked Singer came back for a second week of performances with six all new singers last night! So it’s time we do some investigating and figure out who they could be! Starting with the Rabbit, we got a few less clues for each singer. Most notably, we no longer know their heights.
But here’s everything we know about the Rabbit so far:
Week 2 Clues
Strength: Quick Footed
Episode 2 Clues: In the show, the Rabbit says he spent most of his life on stage but never alone. He “pops up here and there” as he is shown in front of a carousel. He says he does “synchronized singing” and has been training for this his entire life. The Rabbit has performed on stage, in a mask, and has a voice. He then said, “the last mask standing, it’s gonna be me.” When asked by the judges, he said he has been “in a band.”
Episode 2 Song: “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin
Week 4 Clues
Episode 4 Clues: The Rabbit claims he knocked it out of the amusement park with his first performance. He then welcomed us to his playground “where I worked as a little bunny.” Shots are of Coney Island. When he was young, he sought fame and everyone wanted a piece of him. The Rabbit found safety in a group, but felt boxed in. He loves getting to cook up something new every week, then offers carrots in a hot dog bun to the camera? Something is off about this Rabbit.
Episode 4 Song: “Wake Me Up” by Avicii
Week 5 Clues
Episode 5 Clues: The Rabbit starts by saying, “Well howdy friends.” He said he’s done pop, country twang, and tonight he’s doing R&B. He says he’s a trickster, popping up here and there. The video shows him vanishing and reappearing. Then, the Rabbit is seen in a pizza shop with a sign that says “Brooklyn pizza available.” He closes his clues by saying, “I just hope I don’t pass out.” After his performance, the Rabbit brought out a “revealing item”–a magician kit!

Week 7 Clues
Episode 7 Clues: The Rabbit mentioned standing out “all on my own.” He is shown with puppet strings controlling his arms. The Rabbit says it’s nice to finally be the puppetmaster! He says he’s prepared for this growing up in the Sunshine State (Florida). Being unmasked would “break his achey heart.” He closes out the package saying he is going from puppetmaster to ringmaster. His moment of truth clue was that he has 17 tattoos on his body.
Episode 7 Song: “Isn’t She Lovely?” by Stevie Wonder
Who is the Rabbit? (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)
Joey Fatone (Honorable Mentions: Lance Bass and JC Chasez)
We believe the Rabbit is Joey Fatone. Not only were all the clues alluding to the Rabbit being in a boy band, but he specifically says “It’s gonna be me” at the end of his Week 2 clues. That’s literally an *NSYNC song! The clue before the show where he’s taking pictures could also be an homage to *NSYNC’s “Celebrity” album. He also did some “No Strings Attached”-esque dancing in his performance.
The Week 4 clues gave us more insight into which specific member of the boy band the Rabbit could be. First of all, Joey is from Brooklyn, where Coney Island is. So showing Coney Island and “Brooklyn Pizza” in the clues revealed that! Second, there were a lot of clues around oranges and Joey’s family moved to Florida when he was 13. The Rabbit talks about working at an amusement park and Joey Fatone worked as a performer at Universal Studios in Orlando. The last clue that sealed the deal was the hot dog bun in the Week 4 clues. Joey opened his own hot dog stand in 2017, Fat One’s, at a mall in Orlando. It has since become a food truck.
In Week 5, the clues again lead to Joey Fatone. The basketball could be a nod to the headline a few years ago when Joey said that *NSYNC would beat the Backstreet Boys in a head-to-head matchup. The clue about “The Price is Right” could be hinting at Joey’s stint as the host of The Price is Right Live! Episode 5 clues also revealed that he’s a “trickster” and Joey has appeared on Impractical Jokers multiple times. Finally, the magician kit. This could be another reference to Orlando, since their basketball team is the Magic, or Joey’s hidden talent: doing magic!
Latest Clues Decoded
The Rabbit again talks about standing on his own, alluding to a boy band he was a part of. It show him hanging by puppet strings, a nod to *NSYNC’s “No Strings Attached” album. The Rabbit talks about growing up in the Sunshine State, Florida, which is where Joey Fatone grew up. And while we haven’t seen anything to say exactly 17 as the number of tattoos Joey has, he definitely has a lot. So that seems to line up too!
