Kelly Clarkson assigned these two artists to sing “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. After the performance, Blake Shelton complimented the “power” of Desz’s voice, but said Joseph held his own. Kelly said Joseph is “like an angel that sings R&B.” She said Desz “commands attention.” She ultimately chose Desz as the winner of the battle. Gwen Stefani then chose to steal Joseph for her team.
Jim Ranger vs. John Sullivan (Team Blake)
Blake Shelton assigned these artists to sing “Good As You” by their advisor, Kane Brown. John Legend said the performance had a “sunny vibe,” adding that he would choose Jim as the winner.
