Lady Gaga Spotted in Costume as Harley Quinn
In photos from the set, Gaga can be seen wearing a fitted red jacket with ruffled sleeves over a diamond-patterned corset, with torn black tights and a black skirt. Her bleached-blonde hair is slicked back, and she has clown makeup around her eyes, along with a red lip.
Previously, an official image was released teasing the upcoming film. It shows Gaga as Harley, looking into Joker’s eyes as she holds his face. The movie is set to debut on October 4, 2024, so fans will have to wait quite some time to see the finished product.
Gaga certainly has plenty of acting experience under her belt at this point. She previously appeared in both American Horror Story: Roanoke and American Horror Story: Hotel, as well as the movies A Star Is Born and House of Gucci.

What to Expect from the New Joker Sequel
One interesting thing to note about Joker: Folie à Deux is that it will reportedly be a musical. According to the Telegraph, there’s a theory that the song and dance numbers will take place inside Harley Quinn’s mind. So it would certainly make sense to cast someone as musically talented as Gaga.
There have also been reports that the movie will feature multiple endings, and that Gaga is taking a method approach to acting as Harley Quinn. There’s also speculation that Harley and the Joker will both be patients at an asylum.
Phoenix won the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in the first Joker film. Could this sequel earn Gaga her first acting Oscar? She was previously nominated for her performance in A Star Is Born and won the Best Original Song Oscar that same year for “Shallow.”
