Everything to Know About ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Guest Judge KSI

This year on Britain’s Got Talent, judge Bruno Tonioli will be absent for some of the auditions. Social media star KSI will be filling in for Tonioli as a guest judge, starting with Saturday’s Series 18 premiere.
Who Is Britain’s Got Talent Guest Judge KSI?
Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, known by the name KSI, is an English boxer, musician, and social media influencer. The 31-year-old co-founded the YouTube group the Sidemen in 2013, and he’s also the co-owner of Lunchly, alongside Logan Paul and MrBeast.
KSI started posting on his main YouTube channel in 2009, and he currently has over 25 million subscribers. He also started making music in 2011, releasing he debut EP Keep Up in 2016 following the success of his single “Lamborghini” the previous year.
In recent years, KSI has also taken up boxing. He went up against Joe Weller in 2018, and later fought Logan Paul in two matches. In 2016, he co-starred with fellow YouTuber Caspar Lee in the direct-to-video movie Laid in America.
In 2018, KSI was the subject of a documentary titled KSI: Can’t Lose, focused on his boxing career. He later released another documentary, titled KSI: In Real Life, in 2023.

He’s ‘Excited’ to Join the Show
“I’m so excited to be a guest judge for BGT,” KSI said in a statement last year. “When I got the call-up, I couldn’t believe it. I remember watching old BGT episodes and going from being amazed to laughing my arse off. I’m buzzing to see all the fresh new talent, and I’ll be sure to leave a mark.”
Tonioli also commented on the choice to have KSI fill in for him, joking at the time, “Who better than a young, attractive, multi-talented star known the world over, filling in for another young, attractive, multi-talented star known the world over.”
Britain’s Got Talent Series 18 will premiere on Saturday, February 22, at 7 pm on ITV1, ITVX, and STV.
