The next episode of the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, is tailored to fans of America’s Got Talent far and wide. In an exclusive interview with Talent Recap, Howie Mandel and Jackelyn Shultz revealed that they’ll be hosting Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell back-to-back ahead of the America’s Got Talent finale.
Howie Mandel Does Stuff Set to Feature Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell
With America’s Got Talent season 17 wrapping up in the coming weeks, Howie Mandel Does Stuff is featuring some of the beloved judges in their upcoming podcast episodes. Mandel and Shultz have had some pretty high profile celebrities in the history of the podcast, but you don’t want to miss these episodes.
Next Tuesday, on the same day as AGT‘s last semifinal, the father-daughter duo will release an episode featuring Sofia Vergara. On the following Tuesday, the day of the AGT finale, they’ll release an episode featuring “the big man himself,” Simon Cowell.
“He [Simon Cowell] has never been on a podcast,” Mandel said. “We’re really excited about that.”
Although Mandel and Shultz didn’t reveal anything content wise about the upcoming episodes, they did acknowledge the fact that this is Simon Cowell’s first appearance ever on an interview based podcast. We can’t wait to see which topics the father-daughter duo will touch on with the talent show mogul.
The History of Howie Mandel Does Stuff
For those who don’t know, Howie Mandel this podcast with his daughter, Jackelyn Shultz during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Together they’ve published nearly 80 podcast episodes featuring themselves, as well as some of the biggest names in Hollywood. In addition to interviewing guests, Mandel opens up about his life and career within episodes.
Howie Mandel Does Stuff recently joined The Roost Podcast Network, which is a digital media subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery. The deal gives The Roost exclusive ad sales and merchandise rights for the podcast. Since the podcast already has a loyal fanbase, the hosts cannot wait to see what the network brings for them.
Fellow America’s Got Talent celebrities, Heidi Klum and Terry Crews have already been featured as part of the series in various episodes. The comedian was very excited to announce Vergara and Cowell’s involvement in the podcast during his surprise appearance on Tuesday night.
Episodes of Howie Mandel Does Stuff publish on Tuesdays. Sofia Vergara’s episode releases on September 6, while Simon Cowell’s episode releases on September 13.
