Father-Daughter ‘Go-Big Show’ Semifinals Act Makes Cody Rhodes Cry

Things got emotional during the first episode of the Go-Big Show Semifinals on Thursday night. The Dare Daughter, aka Annaliese Nock, performed a death-defying stunt with a special appearance from her father, Bello Nock. The act brought judge Cody Rhodes to tears.

Annaliese Nock Invites Dad into ‘Go-Big Show’ Semifinals Act

Annaliese and her father Bello previously appeared together on both America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent. Although Annaliese is competing alone on Go-Big Show, she invited her dad to participate in Thursday’s Semifinals act.

Annaliese teased that she would be “going bigger by going smaller,” balancing on a three-inch moving surface. She climbed a tall pole that swayed back and forth, performing handstands and other tricks without a harness or a safety net.

Then she invited her dad out on stage to climb another pole. They swayed them toward each other and ended up switching places. Annaliese finished the performance by sliding down the pole head first, stopping herself before she hit the ground.

Cody Rhodes Tears Up Over the Nocks’ Performance

The judges were on the edge of their seats throughout Annaliese’s entire performance, and Rhodes was especially moved by her sharing the stage with her father. He got choked up as he talked about sharing the wrestling ring with his own family, and how special it is.

Before her Semifinals performance, Annaliese shared her desire to reach the next round, since there were no women in the finale last season. She was up against Jose Angeles and Kevin “Iron Hands” Taylor in the second matchup of the night.

Annaliese earned a score of 97, which was higher than Kevin’s score of 94 and Jose’s score of 96. However, the judges voted to send the first matchup winner, Manu Lataste, to the Finals instead. Unfortunately, we won’t see the Dare Daughter in the finale.
