Enisa to Return to ‘American Song Contest’ With “Green Light” as Second Redemption Act

The final highly anticipated American Song Contest redemption song was revealed on Monday night’s semifinal show. Enisa, representing New York, will return in on the next episode of American Song Contest performing her song “Green Light.”
Enisa, representing New York, will take the stage once more singing her song “Green Light” on Monday night. This singer originally took the stage as part of the qualifier round heat two and was eliminated. Even though her fast paced song shined on stage, she unfortunately was on the chopping block.
Similar to “New Boot Goofin‘” by Ryan Charles, Enisa’s tune gained tons of streams since its release. “Green Light” earned 153,004 streams on Spotify, 706,000 views on YouTube’s live performance, and 838,000 views on her music video. She will appear in the semifinals second episode performing an elevated version of “Green Light.”
Who Was Enisa Before American Song Contest?
Enisa is a 20 year old performer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up listening to a lot of Albanian music due to her parents influence. In addition to Albanian music, Enisa listened to artists such as Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone and Justin Timberlake. She found inspiration in both Adele and Amy Winehouse.
Once Enisa graduated high school, she began sharing her cover music to YouTube. One of her first videos covering “Take Me to Church” by Hozier gained 100,000 views in three months. After resharing the cover to Facebook, it brought in over one million views. Enisa began working towards making music her full time career after her college graduation. In turn, she posted more YouTube videos and began releasing original music. She released multiple singles before signing a record deal in May 2019. She is signed to Atlantic Records in current day.
Outside of music, Enisa began modeling in 2013. Following the success of her YouTube cover, she was many record labels and managers reached out to her on social media. During this time she chose to sign with Wilhelmina Models in 2016. That year she appeared in many fashion magazine editorials. We’re unsure if she’s still working with the modeling agency in current day. Her last editorial appearances were in March and June 2021.
