American Idol Judges Save Four Contestants in Top 14
The Top 20 artists all had a chance to perform during Monday’s show. Some of them took the stage in celebration after learning they had made it into the Top 14 thanks to America’s vote, while others performed for their shot at receiving a save from the judges after learning they were in danger.
Out of the artists who were in danger, the judges ended up saving Desmond Roberts, Josh King, Ché, and Amanda Barise. The rest of the Top 14, who made it straight through, included Platinum Ticket winners Kolbi Jordan, Filo, and Canaan James Hill.
The Voice alum Thunderstorm Artis also made it through to the Top 14, along with John Foster, Mattie Pruitt, Breanna Nix, Jamal Roberts, Slater Nalley, and Gabby Samone. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to six talented singers.
The eliminated contestants included former The Voice contestant Victor Solomon, as well as former X Factor contestant Drew Ryn. Baylee Littrell, son of Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell, was also eliminated. Isaiah Misailegalu, Olivier Bergeron, and Zaylie Windsor also went home.

Breanna Nix Denies Leaving the Show
Breanna Nix earned an automatic spot in the Top 14 on Monday thanks to America’s vote. The singer is still in the competition, in spite of a recent rumor that she had quit the show after signing a record deal. The 25-year-old addressed the rumor on Instagram.
Over the weekend, ahead of the Top 20 results, Breanna posted a photo of herself in Hawaii with celebrity mentor Ashanti, writing in the caption that she “wanted to clear up a rumor real quick.”
“I have not left American Idol, and I haven’t signed with any record label either. That’s just not true. If there are any updates in my life, I’ll be the one to post them — personally!” she wrote. “Not sure why someone would make up something like this, but just know I’m still very much on the show and giving it my all.”
