‘The X Factor UK’s 4th Night Of Auditions Was Amazing
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Sunday night of The X Factor UK auditions was possible better than Saturday’s edition of the show. For the most part the singers were really good…with a couple of exceptions. Let’s examine.

Kiki Piesare
Oh, Kiki. This stay at home mom looks kind of like Janet Jackson but doesn’t have her pipes. She sang One Night Only by Jennifer Hudson and did not do very well. She got 4 nos.

Burgundy Williams
Burgandy comes on as an older person competing against a bunch of whippersnappers but she has the chops. She sings Respect by Aretha Franklin (RIP) and really pulls it off. She had the judges going nuts. She easily made it through.

Roy Robson and Ollie Swain
Roy breaks the cardinal rule of auditioning for Simon Cowell: don’t bring a guitar. I guess Simon associates it with singer on the street and that is exactly what he tells Roy. 4 nos. Ollie Swain suffered the same fate for the same reason.

Tommy Ludford
However, there are exceptions to every rule. Tommy brought out a guitar and I thought he was doomed. He was not. He’s like the second coming of Ed Sheeran. He got 4 yeses.

Athena ManourianÂ
This Greek singer was, in my opinion, not worth putting through. Louis agreed with me but the other three thought there was something there. I don’t get it.

Tre Amici
These three dudes are just some working class guys but they like to sing opera. Unfortunately, Simon stops them (again) and says that the dude in the middle is better and wants to hear him sing alone. The dude sings a line but then says he wants to proceed with his buddies. Simon got made but came around and they got 4 yeses.

Scarlett Lee
Now we’re talking. She and Burgandy were easily the best of the night. Simon stops her halfway through, (which is really getting annoying), and has her sing Never Enough from The Greatest Showman. With that she won them over and got 4 yeses.
