On April 1, Dancing With The Stars professionals Bersten and Slater shared a TikTok video. In the video, they’re both wearing lavender clothes and nodding their heads to the music. For those who may be unfamiliar with the trend, many couples have been posting to this sound, with commentary of how connected they are.
The video, published on Slater’s account, has the caption “iykyk 😊.” Bersten on the other hand posted with DWTS partner Ilona Maher.
The top comment on this video is none other than pro Ezra Sosa. Sosa is his usual self, commenting “CHAT OH MY GOD FINALLY” on the post. At the time of writing, this comment has earned 51.2K likes and 59 replies.

Bersten and Slater have always remained private regarding their lives. A TikTok video together, with a couple reference is very out of the ordinary for them. Since the video was posted on April Fool’s Day, fans have rightfully questioned it.

At the time of writing, fans still are unsure if this was a hard launch or not. Many believe that this post was inspired by Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy. The DWTS married couple posted the same trend on Sunday, March 30.
For those who may have missed it, dating rumors between Bersten and Slater began in December 2023 during the DWTS live tour rehearsals. At the time, the show’s tour page shared a photo of Bersten and Slater where they’re seen sitting next to each other, holding hands.
In 2023, Slater filed for divorce from fellow DWTS professional Sasha Farber. At the time, Farber fueled rumors of a romance between Slater and Bersten by liking a tweet hinting at a relationship between the two dancers.
