Britain’s Got Talent Series 18 returns this Saturday, as the judges continue to watch auditions from talented acts hoping to win the top prize. Ahead of the new episode, the show shared a few early release clips featuring impressive performances.
Magician Wows the Judges in BGT Early Release
One of the early release clips shared by BGT ahead of Saturday’s show features magician Eden Choi, who showed off some incredible skills that shocked the judges and had the crowd cheering. Eden didn’t speak during his performance, which started with him making an apple levitate.
The 24-year-old went on to do some amazing tricks with playing cards, making them seem to appear out of thin air. He even changed their shape and altered the images on them. Before the performance was even done, audience members were on their feet cheering for Eden.
The judges were also clearly impressed, as they gave Eden a standing ovation for his audition. We’ll have to wait until Saturday’s new episode to find out what they thought of the performance, but it’s safe to say they’ll have plenty of positive things to say about it.
Another early release audition shared by BGT features a musician named Cornel Hrisca-Munn, who showed off his amazing drumming skills for the judges. Cornel, who is originally from Romania, was born with no forearms.
Cornel performed songs by Robbie Williams and Earth, Wind & Fire on his drums, prompting the audience to get on their feet and cheer for him. He had the judges dancing along to “September,” and hosts Ant & Dec also expressed their love for the performance from backstage.
In another brief clip shared by the show, Ant & Dec can also be seen getting in on the fun during a basketball-themed audition. Unfortunately, they both failed to make it into the basket, prompting two red buzzers from the panel.
A new episode of Britain’s Got Talent airs this Saturday on ITV1, ITVX and STV.
