A month after Wyatt Pike left American Idol due to “personal reasons,” he continues to pursue his booming music career. Now, he is teaming up with Season 18 American Idol contestants Julia Gargano and Louis Knight for a concert next month.
Wyatt Pike Will Join ‘American Idol’ Alums For New York Concert
Wyatt posted about his upcoming performance on social media on the heels of his most recent single “Diana.” Tickets to the New York show are now available for purchase. Virtual tickets will be announced soon.
“Super excited to be on this show with @julia.gargano and @louisknightmusic! June 6 at Snug Harbor on Staten Island, NY!” Wyatt wrote on Instagram.
Wyatt dropped out of American Idol after making it to the Top 16. The Utah native was an early standout in the competition and his self-elimination definitely came as a shock. His fellow Season 19 contestants offered him tremendous support along with last season’s contestants. Clearly, their bond has been solidified as they team up for this sure-to-be epic concert.
The American Idol alums will also be joined by local artists Brielle Von Hugel & Jessica Rose, and Joan Caddell & the Midnight Choir. The show will be more of a festival-style and fans even have the option to purchase meet and greet tickets to meet Julia.
Julia will mark her first live performance since competing on American Idol with this show. She signed with 19 Recordings after the show leading up to her latest release “Strangers.” She first impressed fans with her incredible songwriting skills singing her original song “Growing Pains” during her Season 18 audition.
Louis was one of the Season 18 contestants invited back for The Comeback during this season of American Idol. Ultimately it was Arthur Gunn who earned a spot back on the show. Still, Louis’ performance of his original song “Maybe That” was easily the most memorable performance of the night.
