The Netflix original show Love Is Blind has been everyone’s latest drama-filled obsession as we’re stuck in our homes during our self-quarantines. Greg Teatom made the most of his quarantine when he proposed to his now fiance Jillian Barnett in a ‘Love Is Blind’ style proposal.
The Couple Pretended To Go On A Blind Date In A ‘Love Is Blind’ Pod
On the show, the contestants talk to each other while they sit inside of rooms called “pods.” The pods are two rooms that are separated by a wall. The contestants talk to each other through the wall until they have found the person that they want to marry. The man then proposes to the woman through the wall without ever seeing what she looks like. Once the woman accepts the proposal, they are then able to meet for the first time and see what each other looks like.
Teatom and Barnett playfully communicated from two separate rooms and pretended they were meeting each other for the first time. The video began with the two introducing themselves with Teatom then saying “what if I told you that you’re the love of my life and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone else.” He then got down on one knee and waited for Barnett to open the door. Their adorable dog was also in on the proposal as he scratched the door and waited for Barnett to come out of the room.

Barnett Was Shocked Beyond Belief
When Barnett finally opened the door and saw Teatom down on his knee with the ring, her reaction was priceless. She kept saying “oh my god” over and over again. Her and Teatom embraced and she asked him if he was serious in which he excitedly replied “yes!” The two are now happily engaged and Barnett even posted the following photo on Instagram.
Barnett joked that they would be spending the rest of their lives together, even though they might not ever be able to leave the house again due to coronavirus.

Barnett’s comment section was flooded with congratulations and well wishes from friends, family and those who just happened to hear of this unique proposal.
This wedding news comes after Netflix announced they would be filming season two of Love Is Blind. The first season had many success stories including fan-favorite couple Cameron and Lauren who fell in love almost instantly.
