Oprah Fearful of Coronavirus After Recently Recovering From Pneumonia, Sends Stedman To Guesthouse

Oprah Winfrey isn’t taking any chances with coronavirus, even if it means sending her partner Stedman Graham packing. Don’t worry, she didn’t kick him out completely. He’s just staying in the guesthouse.
The couple has chosen to stay separate for a few reasons. One has to do with Oprah possibly being at a higher risk if she contracts coronavirus, and the other has to do with Stedman’s virus-related precautions — or lack thereof.
Oprah Making Stedman Quarantine In The Guesthouse
Oprah explained in an Instagram Live with her magazine that she had pneumonia last year and recently got off antibiotics for a bronchial infection. So obviously she wants to avoid contracting COVID-19 at this time.

The media mogul added that Stedman was “one of those” who was “late to the party” when it comes to taking precautions against the virus. Although he hasn’t tested positive for it, Oprah isn’t taking any chances.
“Stedman did not arrive from Chicago until Thursday, he had been speaking in St. Louis…he’d been on planes,” Oprah explained, “so Stedman is like ‘What’s the procedure for coming home?’ The procedure is…you ain’t coming and sleeping in my bed!”
Is Stedman Okay With This Quarantine Arrangement?
Oprah said Stedman was fine with isolating himself. She’s bringing him meals outside his door, and the couple has “love chats” through the window. In fact, O Magazine‘s Instagram shared a cute video of Stedman peeking out of the guesthouse.
“My friends say ‘Oh, isn’t Stedman upset?’ He’s really not,” Oprah said. “He’s happy to keep me safe.” She added that she’s not bored during this time of social distancing, explaining, “I just love being with myself.”

“So this is more time to be with myself without the guilt,” she explained. “Usually it’s like, you’re with yourself but everybody wants to be someplace else. But there’s nowhere to be!”
Oprah and Stedman have been together for over 30 years. We doubt even coronavirus could break them up.
