Reading Time: 2 minutes
As The Voice heads into another epic season, all four coaches perform Camila Cabello’s hit song “Havana.” The recording of the newest coach’s hit song has made The Voice fans even more excited for the upcoming season.
The Voice Coaches Welcome Camila Cabello
John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani warmly welcomed the newest The Voice coach Camila Cabello by joining her onstage to sing her chart-topping song. The performance was spectacular, to say the least. Definitely, a wide variety of singing styles were noticed.
Cabello kicked off the special version of “Havana” with her soft vocals along with a smooth guitar sound. Afterwards, the camera panned to show other coaches who are grooving with the rhythm.
A live ensemble accompanied Cabello while singing her verse. John Legend then followed her in his usual sexy vocals and a grin. With Shelton as her backup, Stefani took her turn. Right after, the coaches moved along with the enthusiastic tempo by the band.
The Latin-influenced hit track live performance ended on a strong final beat with all coaches smiling at one another and having an affectionate group hug. This has to be one of the best group performances The Voice has seen.
Fans Praised Their Live Performance
With the way fans reacted to the live version, The Voice Season 22 coaches might as well record the full studio version of the cover. Supporters are surprised how Stefani sounded incredible on the track. They also are pleased to see Shelton happily singing a non-country music.
“Damn Gwen’s voice! Crunchy edgy aesthetically pleasing!! Blake raspy voice, John’s jazzy element!! And I can see Camilla is so proud of herself, being able to sing her own song with these living legends!” said a fan in the comments.
On the other hand, some have reinstated their sadness upon Kelly Clarkson’s departure from The Voice. Nonetheless, fans anticipate that Cabello will add a new flavor to the show and that Stefani will step up her game. Only time will tell which coach is successful in mentoring the next The Voice winner.
The Voice season 22 premieres on Monday, September 22 at 8/7c on NBC. We cannot wait to see the first round of blind auditions and coach feuds.
