Howie Mandel Announces New Projects — Will He Return to ‘AGT’ Next Season?

Longtime America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel is keeping busy with quite a few projects these days, including a new Canadian version of The Price Is Right. Will the comedian have time to appear on AGT when it returns next season?
AGT Judge Howie Mandel Announces New Projects
Earlier this year, it was announced that Mandel will be hosting a primetime Canadian spin-off of the beloved game show The Price Is Right. Production for the new show, titled The Price Is Right Tonight, will reportedly begin in December, with a premiere on Citytv in spring 2026.
Meanwhile, Canada’s Got Talent will reportedly go on hiatus next season. This will free up time in Mandel’s schedule, as he serves as a judge on the show. The comedian certainly has experience as a game show host, having famously hosted Deal or No Deal on NBC.
The Price Is Right isn’t the only thing keeping Mandel busy these days. In addition to hosting his podcast Howie Mandel Does Stuff, it was recently announced that he has joined the Global Gaming League as a team owner. His “Howie Do It” team will make their debut on October 29 in Las Vegas.

Will Mandel Be Back on AGT Next Season?
With Mandel taking on new projects, it begs the question of whether he’ll have time to appear on America’s Got Talent next season. As of this writing, there has been no confirmation of who will sit on the judging panel for Season 21, which is expected to air next summer.
CGT being on hiatus will certainly make it easier for Mandel to juggle his various responsibilities. Since The Price Is Right Tonight will reportedly begin filming in December for a spring release, it’s possible that Mandel will be done with the season before AGT auditions start filming.
