Speaking to People, the singer described Eliana as “6 lbs., 12 oz. and 20.5 inches of pure love,” adding, “The moment I held her, everything around me just stopped. It’s the kind of love you can’t explain — that fills every part of you all at once.”
Sanchez Announced Her Pregnancy on the Show
Sanchez winning Season 20 of America’s Got Talent was a full-circle moment, since she previously competed on Season 1 of the show when she was just 10 years old. In her audition for the new season, Sanchez shared the exciting news that she was pregnant with her first child.
According to People, Sanchez and her husband dated for nine years before getting married in 2021. Last month, the singer released a new original single called “Two Lines,” in which she sings about anticipating the birth of her daughter.
Sanchez told the magazine that she and Gallardo chose their daughter’s name “because it means ‘God has answered,’ and that’s exactly how she feels.” She went on to share, “I’m healing, learning and soaking in every second with her. My heart has never been this full.”
