Kate Hudson is Battle Advisor For Team Adam on The Voice 2025
On Monday night, The Voice fans were introduced to each team’s Battle Advisor. In case you missed it, this season’s Battle Advisors include Coco Jones (Team Legend), Cynthia Erivo (Team Buble), Little Big Town (Team Kelsea), and Hudson (Team Adam).
Many fans of the show were confused to see Hudson as a Battle Advisor, since she’s primarily known as an actress, but she’s recently dove into the world of music. Taking inspiration from well-known film, Almost Famous, Hudson decided to launch her music career in January 2024. In present day, she has released her debut album, Glorious. This album was released on January 31, 2025.
When announcing Hudson as his Battle Advisor, Adam Levine explained his choice, saying “Kate Hudson is a household name and has been for years, and now she’s venturing into this new career, which is awesome,” he said in a confessional interview.
Hudson’s time on The Voice is alongside the release of her new Netflix comedy series, Running Point. The series is so popular that it has already been confirmed for a second season.

“We’ve known each other since high school,” Levine said on The Voice.
“I actually might have been at one of your first gigs,” Hudson said.
Although Hudson and Levine didn’t go to the same schools, they remained in touch throughout the years. For those who may not know, Hudson allegedly attended Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, while Levine attended Brentwood School in West Los Angeles.
While talking about The Voice, Hudson admitted that she’s “been a fan of the show, watched the show.” She sees being on the show as a way to connect with her love of music.
