‘The Voice’ Finale Recap: Team Niall’s Huntley Named Season 24 Winner

The Voice Season 24 returned on Tuesday night for the Season 24 finale, as Huntley was announced as the winner, giving Niall Horan his second win as a coach. The two-hour episode also featured duets between the coaches and their artists, as well as some famous guest performers.
Team Niall’s Huntley Named Season 24 The Voice Winner
During Tuesday’s episode, the Voice coaches joined forces with their Top 5 artists to perform duets. First up was Niall Horan and Huntley, who sang “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan. Horan also took the stage with Mara Justine to sing “Wasted Time” by the Eagles.
Reba McEntire teamed up with her artist Jacquie Roar to sing “No One Else on Earth” by Wynonna Judd, and Ruby Leigh for a cover of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee. John Legend and his artist Lila Forde combined their voices for a performance of “Sleigh Ride” by Ella Fitzgerald.
At the end of the night, host Carson Daly announced the results of the overnight vote, based on the Top 5’s performances on Monday night’s show. The winner of The Voice Season 24 was announced to be Huntley, giving coach Niall Horan his second win in a row. Ruby Leigh was the runner-up. In fifth place was Lila Forde, in fourth place was Jacquie Roar, and in third place was Mara Justine.

The Finale Featured Some Famous Faces
Unfortunately, scheduled performer Jelly Roll was not able to take the stage on Tuesday night due to illness. But there were plenty of other great performances to enjoy during the Season 24 finale. That included a performance from next season’s new coaching duo Dan + Shay, who sang their song “Bigger Houses.”
Later on, Keith Urban took the stage to sing his song “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” and South African singer Tyla performed her song “Truth or Dare.” The finale also featured a performance from legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire, who sang a medley of their biggest hits, including “Boogie Wonderland” and “September.”
Tuesday’s episode also featured a rendition of “Let It Snow” by the coaches, as well as a Barbie-themed performance of Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night” by the Top 12 artists from this season.
