Britain’s Got Talent Series 18 returned over the weekend for the last night of Semifinals before next week’s grand finale. Two more acts moved on — one thanks to the public vote, and the other thanks to a Golden Buzzer from returning guest judge KSI.

KSI Hits Golden Buzzer During BGT Semifinals

During this week’s Semifinals episode, magician Harry Moulding returned to the stage to perform a new trick. This time, he had the judges choose seat numbers in the audience seemingly at random, before proving that he had predicted all of their choices before the show.

But there was a twist involved in Harry’s act involving the final audience member, Jess. First, he brought Jess on stage and had her press play on a video showing him predicting everything that would happen during his act. Jess’ boyfriend (coincidentally also named Harry) turned out to be in the video with him.

Jess was shocked when her boyfriend then showed up in person during the live show to propose to her on stage. He got down on one knee with a ring, and Jess said yes. The crowd cheered, and the judges gave Harry a standing ovation for the exciting performance.

Before the BGT panel could share their thoughts, guest judge KSI pressed the Golden Buzzer for Harry’s performance. Earlier in the show, hosts Ant & Dec announced that they were handing their Golden Buzzer privileges for the episode over to KSI, who had joined the regular four judges at the desk.

When reacting to Harry’s Golden Buzzer performance, judge Amanda Holden said that he brought magic to a “complete other level.” Simon Cowell called Harry “the frontrunner” in the competition as he heads into the Series 18 finale, warning the other finalists that they should be nervous.

Young Dancer Binita Earns the Public Vote

The public also had a chance to vote another act into the BGT finale during this week’s Semifinals episode. That act turned out to be Binita, a 9-year-old dancer who returned to the stage to deliver a powerful performance in which she showed off some incredible acrobatic moves.

The judges gave Binita a standing ovation for the performance. Holden called her a “powerhouse,” saying she was “in awe” of Binita’s talent. Bruno Tonioli called her a “warrior princess unleashing hell on stage.” KSI said that if he had another Golden Buzzer, he would have pressed it for Binita.

The audience at home voted Binita through to the BGT finale. She and Harry Moulding will now compete against previously chosen finalists Vinnie McKee, The Blackouts, Olly Pearson, Stacey Leadbeatter, Jasmine Rice, Ping Pong Pang, Joseph Charm, and Hear Our Voice. Also keep an eye out for a possible wildcard act as we get closer to the finale.

The Series 18 finale is set to air next Saturday, May 31, on ITV1, ITVX, and STV. Who are you rooting for to win the show? Do you agree with this week’s Semifinals results? Should KSI have been given this week’s Golden Buzzer privileges instead of the hosts? Let us know in the comments below.
