America’s Got Talent is officially back! The show’s twentieth season premieres today, May 27, 2025 at 8PM ET on NBC. In a shocking twist, the show released a Golden Buzzer act early to its Youtube Channel. Here’s everything you need to know about Mel B’s Golden Buzzer, Messoudi Brothers.
Who is Mel B’s Golden Buzzer Recipient Messoudi Brothers?
It’s no secret that any Got Talent fan loves when an act returns to the stage, years later. It seems like Mel B is among the fans of crossover contestants by rewarding Messoudi Brothers with one of her two Golden Buzzers.
In case you didn’t know, Messoudi Brothers first took to the America’s Got Talent stage during Season 14 (2019). During their 2019 audition, Messoudi Brothers performed an acrobatic balancing routine to “Warriors” by Imagine Dragons. Judges at the time, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and Simon Cowell all voted “yes” sending the group through.
The Messoudi Brothers continued on in Season 14, making it all the way into the Semifinals, where they were eliminated instead of Tyler Butler-Figueroa.
What Has This Group Done Since AGT?
It appears Messoudi Brothers are returning to the stage bigger and better than ever. Since AGT, this group has appeared on various Got Talent shows around the world, often making it to the Final. They appeared on Tu Si Que Vales and Arab’s Got Talent in 2019 following AGT.
In 2020, they auditioned and earned a Golden Buzzer on Das Supertalent, making it to the Final. Also in 2020, they appeared on La France a un Incroyable Talent where they made it to the Final. Two years later, the group auditioned for the tenth season of Australia’s Got Talent.
In 2023, the group auditioned for Spain’s Got Talent: All-Stars but didn’t advance. They also appeared on Tu Si Que Vales again in this year. A year later, two members of Messoudi Brothers reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent. In the same year, two members auditioned for Spain’s Got Talent and were buzzed off. Ahead of AGT, the same two members competed on Das Supertalent again, as a duo.
