The Show May Shock Viewers As Much As The Reveals
The Masked Singer Season 5 will have a couple of new twists, sure to appeal to the new and long-term fans of the show. With Nick Cannon still out as he recovers from Covid-19, the season will kick off with Niecy Nash filling in as guest host. She is joined by the returning judge’s panel of Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke. Cannon fans don’t fret, he is expected to return to hosting duties once fully recovered.
Here’s where it will get interesting. This season the show gives us another mystery celebrity but they won’t be singing. Cluedle-Doo is a new masked character who will make regular appearances on the show and “may” provide additional clues about the masked singers’ identities. Season 5 will also feature an unknown number of wildcard contestants. So there could be a few new masked singers that could step in to steal the spotlight at any time.
If you’re a new fan or an existing one, the new season is sure to be as fun as ever solving the clues. With additional mysteries and twists, you’re not going to want to miss a beat. Keep it dialed, the show premieres Wednesday, March 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
