The Masked Singer is set to return to FOX in 2026. With a release slated for early January, the show has officially begun sharing news related to their competition. Crazily, differing from other seasons, America will know the identity behind one of the cast members.
Disney’s Descendants Star Kylie Cantrall is America’s Insider
On Wednesday, December 10, it was announced that 20 year old actress and singer Kylie Cantrall will be featured on this season of The Masked Singer. She’s stepping into the first ever role of America’s Insider. This brand new role makes it so fans know exactly who one of the contestants on this season is.
“Of course, getting to sing every night and spend time with my on-screen mom, Rita Ora, would have been enough,” Cantrall said to People. “But the fact that I get to be America’s Insider for the first time in Masked Singer history? I was like, “Sign me up!”
Even though fans of the show will be aware of Cantrall’s involvement in the series, BUT her identity will remain anonymous to show panelists, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora. Fans are intrigued to see if Ora specifically can guess Cantrall’s identity, since she starred alongside her in Descendants.
Similarly, Cantrall’s costume will be a mystery to fans until premiere day on Wednesday, Jan 7. The actress will provide hints ahead of time to fans.
Who is Kylie Cantrall?
As previously stated, Cantrall is a Disney Star. She has been apart of the Descendants franchise, as well as High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. In addition, she has released her most recent EP, B.O.Y. in May.
Outside of acting, Cantrall is also a social media star with nearly 2 million followers on Instagram, 8.5 million on TikTok, and 765K subscribers on YouTube. She ultimately began her career under the pseudonym “Hello Kylie” on YouTube. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
