The Voice Season 28 returned on Monday night for the first part of the finale, as the Top 6 finalists took the stage for their last chance to earn votes from viewers at home, in the hope of being named the winner. During the episode, each artist sang a classic song as well as a more contemporary track.

The Voice Reveals Voting Results from Playoffs

During the Season 28 Playoffs, four of the six finalists were determined by the coaches. Viewers at home got to vote for two more artists to send to the finale. Those artists were revealed during Monday’s episode. Team Bublé’s Max Chambers and Team Niall’s DEK of Hearts earned the final two spots.

Max is the youngest artist in the competition at just 14 years old. During the finale, he performed “Your Way’s Better” by Forrest Frank, prompting praise from his coach Michael Bublé for being “open about your faith.” Later, Max gave a soaring performance of “One Moment in Time” by Whitney Houston. Bublé called him a “beautiful human being.”

DEK of Hearts is the only group act left in the competition. They started the show with a performance of “Fishin’ in the Dark” by the Nitty Gritty Girt Band. Their coach Niall Horan, who is on vocal rest and won’t be able to perform during tomorrow’s grand finale, said he was “so proud” of them. Later, the group showed off beautiful harmonies on a cover of “Let It Go” by James Bay.

Michael Bublé’s other finalist, Jazz McKenzie, also impressed during Tuesday’s show with powerhouse performances of “Against All Odds” by Phil Collins and “Driver’s License” by Olivia Rodrigo. The latter performance brought coach Snoop Dogg to tears, as he said Jazz “touched my heart.” Bublé said she’s “meant to be a star.”

Niall Horan’s second finalist, Aiden Ross, delivered powerful performances of “Golden Hour” by JVKE and “The Winner Takes It All” by ABBA during Monday’s show. Horan that said Aiden was “absolutely incredible” and encouraged viewers at home to vote.

Team Reba’s Aubrey Nicole, who was a one-chair turn in her audition, delivered strong country performances of “‘Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson and “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia” by Vicki Lawrence. McEntire said she “knocked it out of the park.”

Team Snoop’s last remaining artist, Ralph Edwards, also delivered two impressive performances on Monday night. During the finale, he sang “I Wanna Know What Love Is” by Foreigner and “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars. Snoop said that Ralph is proof that people should “never give up” on their dreams.

Now it’s time to decide which artist should be named the Season 28 winner. Voting is open until Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. ET. Only one vote is allowed per email address, so make sure you choose carefully.
