The Masked Singer is set to return for Season 14 in January, and the show has teased a huge twist for the new competition. This time, viewers at home will know the identity of one of the contestants ahead of time.
The Masked Singer Teases New Season 14 Twist
On Monday, The Masked Singer posted a video on Instagram showing one of the new Season 14 contestants wearing a mask and a hoodie that reads “Don’t Talk to Me.” In case you didn’t know, this is what the show’s contestants wear when they’re backstage, so the no one discovers their identity.
“For the first time in The Masked Singer history, you’ll know who is under one of the masks,” reads the text on the video, “and follow their journey as no one else on the cast or crew knows.”
The identity of this contestant will apparently be revealed on Wednesday, December 10. The post’s caption reads, “Think you can keep a secret? We’ve got the biggest one YET. Keep watching and come back on 12/10/2025.”
Typically, the identities of the masked celebrities are a mystery to both viewers at home and the show’s panel until they’re unmasked. However, because the show is pre-taped, fans watching as the show airs will now have more information than the panelists. This could add a fun new element to the show that we’ve never seen before.

Which Contestants Have Been Introduced So Far?
We don’t yet know the costume for the contestant whose identity will be revealed ahead of time. However, the show has already teased several of this season’s new costumes on social media.
First, the show introduced us to High Voltage, an electrifying new character. The show has also teased the costumes for Galaxy Girl, Queen Corgi, and Eggplant. Another cute new costume for this season is Snowcone.
