Reading Time: 2 minutes
RuPaul’s Drag Race has seemingly won the attention of fans after dropping an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming episode. The short video shows the 14 remaining drag queens as they get ready for RuPaul Charles’ big announcement.
The Brand New Episode Features a “Supersized Snatch Game”
RuPaul usually attempts to deliver new and original stuff, and this season they decided to turn up the level of the Snatch Game. The game is where the contestants will have to try their skills in impersonating the best celebrity they can while improvising a comedy skit.
The maxi challenge for season 15 of the show now requires the queens to play two different celebrities for two rounds. The contestants face each other once again with actress Amandla Stenberg being the guest judge.
“For this week’s Maxi Challenge, we’ll be serving a double helping of the Snatch Games.” RuPaul said. “For the first time in Drag Race history, we’ll be playing the game in two rounds with two different cast of characters.”
During the program, the participants must engage with and establish relationships with one another. The queen who completes all of the tasks and receives the most votes from the judges will be crowned America’s Next Drag Star in the finale episode.

The Show is Having a Shorter Runtime, Fans Aren’t Having It
The show is currently an Emmy-winning hit with devoted fans all over the globe, but the recent move to MTV caused a shorter runtime and fans of the show are unhappy. RuPaul’s Drag Race episodes have typically lasted 90 minutes, including commercials during the previous three years, and are immediately by the backstage after program Untucked. However, this season, it has a standard hour-long block on the new network, producing only 42 minutes of the show.
The move has resulted in fewer mirror talks in the Werk Room, as well as a significantly shortened version of each episode’s runway. This isn’t the change the fans are expecting to have unfortunately, and most of them are voicing out their outrage online.
Although fans are currently unhappy about the recent change, the ones who are the most affected are the competing drag queens. Being a RuPaul’s Drag Race competitor is a famously pricey investment, and many contestants found themselves in debt after spending money on all the outfits needed for a season. The queens are also currently frustrated of the fact that their time and money invested on the show only amounts to a 45-minute episode.
