Page Six reports that Carey’s Atlanta home was burglarized in July, with police confirming a break-in but saying that since “this is still an open investigation, the information may be limited.” The burglary was reported to police on July 27, but it’s not known what was taken.
The nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom home was purchased last November for $5.65 million by a trust using the same name as other Carey properties. The house also features a pool, a tennis court, and a playground.
In July, Carey reportedly spent time in Capri, Italy, with her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. She then spent time in a Hamptons rental house that is on the market for $20 million.

Carey has not commented on the reported break-in, but she has shared photos from both Italy and the Hamptons. In one shot, she said she wanted to capture how her hair looked before the Capri humidity affected it.
In another post, Carey posed in the water near rocks, wearing a sparkly number. She included a brief video in which she splashes water on herself while smiling, captioning the post, “Ciao Capri!”
About a week later, Carey shared a snap from the house in the Hamptons. In the photo, she sits in a sweatsuit with her dog in her lap. She captioned the post, “Out East for the week, soaking it all in.” Carey thanked the team who helped her find the house.
