Bring The Funny’s Chrissy Teigen is in the process of building her very own reality TV empire. The Twitter queen just signed on for a multi-series deal with Hulu. But wait there’s more! Chrissy also landed a Judge Judy-esque type of show featuring her very own mother.
Before we forget, Chrissy Teigen’s target collection is bomb dot com and her husband and TheVoice coach John Legend better watch out, because there’s a new star in town! After Luna, obvs.
We all know Chrissy knows her way around the kitchen, and now we get to watch her culinary skills in action!
The Delta, Utah native is teaming up with Chef David Chang and Vox Media to showcase a brand new series that will stream on Hulu Kitchen.
New Hulu Series: Family Style
The new series is titled Family Style and is the first cooking talk show of its kind. We said multi-series deal right? Chrissy and David will also put on their producer hats to create and star in an additional new show titled Eater’s Guide To The World. In this docu-series the culinary duo will focus on food from around the world (go figure!.
“I’m hoping we can keep integrating new perspectives into the conversation, telling compelling stories about our culture, and trying to change people’s ideas of what food television can and should do,” chef David said in a recent interview with People.
“I think there’s an audience out there that understands and celebrates the world through food, and they’re hungry for shows that feed their sense of curiosity in new ways.”
Remember Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings Collection?
It’s no surprise that Chrissy’s career is moving towards a culinary direction. Back in 2016 the mama-of-two dropped her very first cookbook – Cravings.
Cravings was literally taking the culinary world by storm, prompting Chrissy to drop a sequel to the coveted cook-book. Cravings: Hungry for More dropped in 2018 and fans just can’t get enough!
Both Cravings installments give chefs an invitation to Chrissy’s kitchen and life. “After two years of parenthood, falling in love with different flavors, and relearning the healing power of comfort food, this book is like Chrissy’s new edible diary: recipes for quick-as-a-snap meals; recipes for lighter, brighter, healthier-ish living; and recipes that, well, are gonna put you to bed, holding your belly. And it will have you hungry for more.”
In addition to eating her way around the world (and getting paid for it #GOALS), Chrissy is also taking on a completely new role. That’s right there’s a new Judge in town and she’s ready to lay down the law.
“Small claims court just got a little bit smaller,” Chrissy joked on Instagram. Teigen will star in her very own show titled Chrissy’s Court on Quibi TV. Judge Chrissy (has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?) will preside over real small claims cases. Chrissy’s word is legally binding and if you don’t pay up you’ll have to deal with bailiff Vilailuck “Pepper Thai” Teigen aka Chrissy’s mom.
Chrissy is literally the icing on the cake in every situation. I can’t wait to see her reactions as real criminals approach the bench to plead their cases. I mean have you seen Chrissy Teigen’s knife set? If you have, you know why we’re all scared for the people trying to argue against her!
I’m expecting that we’ll see some live-tweets along the way as well. And come one, can you think of anything better? Twitter will be on fire.
