10-Year-Old Guitarist, Second Chance Singer Audition in ‘AGT’ Early Release Clips

America’s Got Talent Season 20 is set to return for another round of auditions this week, and the show has shared two early release clips to get fans excited about the new episode. They feature 10-year-old guitarist Bay Melnick Virgolino and returning singer Austin Brown.

10-Year-Old Guitarist Auditions in AGT Early Release Clip

The first early release features 10-year-old Bay Melnick Virgolino, who told the judges that he was 5 years old when he started taking guitar lessons. He proceeded to show off some amazing guitar skills and a great stage presence.

Bay performed “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz on the electric guitar, drawing cheers from the crowd and making the AGT judges smile. Mel B told Bay that she thought Kravitz “would be so proud” of his cover.

“You are amazing. You are memorable. You’re like a rock star, you really are,” Howie Mandel said, while Sofia Vergara called him “one of the coolest kids I have ever met.” All four judges voted “yes” to sending Bay through in the competition.

Singer Gets a Second Chance in New Audition

Earlier this season, a singer named Austin Brown auditioned for the judges. Unfortunately, only two of them voted “yes” to sending him through, meaning he had to be eliminated. However, judge Simon Cowell told him to talk to the producers about coming back with another song.

That’s exactly what Austin did, and this week’s second early release shows what happened when he returned to the AGT stage. During his first audition, Austin sang “When a Man Loves a Woman.” This time, he performed an inspiring original song called “Somebody Believed.”
