John Legend’s Album Legend Takes New Meaning After Arrival of Rainbow Baby

Singer-songwriter John Legend has recently released the Solo Piano Version of his album Legend. According to him, some songs have specifically been more meaningful due to Chrissy Teigen’s childbirth.
John Legend Reveals Most “Meaningful” Song in Legend (Solo Piano Version)
The R&B superstar released his eighth studio album, Legend, back in September 2022, offering fans another soulful music collection. However, not even halfway through 2023, Legend has proven that Legend could be more heartfelt and profound. His new album Legend (Solo Piano Version) is out now, one the EGOT winner is absolutely proud of.
“I’d already written the songs so it was fun to reimagine them and think of new ways of presenting them,” he told People.
As stated by Legend, he’s never done an entire album that was imagined in piano. The singer went on and stated that “Honey” is his favorite new version at the moment. He particularly described the song as “stuff that grown-ups do.”

“Just having made it while my wife was pregnant and seeing the miracle of childbirth and all that women have to go through to bring life into the world makes that song especially meaningful to me,” he said.
Last month, Teigen gave birth to their rainbow baby, Esti Maxine. This newest member of the Legend household joined two of her older siblings, Luna and Miles. The singer stated that their home has recently been filled with “more love, more joy.”
He Tries to Give Teigen a Break While Still Recovering from Childbirth
With their latest addition to the family, Legend knew that he needs to step up both as a husband and father. The “All of Me” hitmaker said that he is as hands-on as he can be.
“I help feed when we use the bottle,” he said. “I’m happy to change diapers. I’m good at burping her, too.”
Legend also mentioned that he’s been singing to Esti lately, although that still gets to be Teigen’s job. Be that as it may, he said that he’s doing his best to help his wife.
“Chrissy’s good at lullabies, too. I try to help as much as I can, you know, to give Chrissy a break,” he said.
The soul music superstar is obviously happy with the way his life is oriented at present. He concluded that he now has “everything I could possibly have dreamed of.” Today, he’s ultimately focused in being the best artist, dad, and romantic partner he can be.
