Who Made It Through The Voice Playoffs Night 2?

During Monday’s episode, the five remaining artists on John Legend and Michael Bublé’s teams took the stage for their chance to move on. The coaches were only able to keep two singers on each of their teams, meaning six singers had to leave the competition at the end of the night.

John Legend chose to keep Bryson Battle and RENZO on his team. Bryson delivered an impressive cover of “POV” by Ariana Grande, while RENZO performed a smooth rendition of “Too Sweet” by Hozier.

Michael Bublé chose to keep Jadyn Cree and Adam David on his team. Jadyn performed an energetic cover of “99 Red Balloons” by Nena, while Adam wowed with his soulful rendition of “I Shall Be Released” by Bob Dylan.

Bryson, RENZO, Jadyn, and Adam will now move on to the live shows, joining last week’s advancing artists on Team Adam and Team Kelsea — Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Kolby Cordell, Iris Herrera, and Alanna Lynise. They’ll all be competing for America’s votes.

Who Was Eliminated from the Show?

Six artists were eliminated from the competition on Monday night, including Team Legend’s four-chair turn BD.ii, who covered “All My Life” by K-Ci & JoJo. Also eliminated on Legend’s team were Olivia Kuper Harris, who sang “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish, and Ari Camille, who sang “Rain” by SWV.

On Michael Bublé’s team, we had to say goodbye to Kaiya Hamilton, who performed “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” by Sting. Angie Rey was also eliminated after singing “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes, who served as a Playoffs advisor.

Also eliminated on Team Bublé was Barry Jean Fontenot, who covered “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez. Do you agree with the coaches’ decisions in Monday’s Playoffs episode? Who are you rooting for as we head into the live shows? Let us know in the comments below.

New Twist Introduced for the Live Shows

At the end of Monday’s episode, host Carson Daly revealed a twist for the upcoming live Semifinals. Each of the four coaches will have a Super Save, which allows them to bring back one eliminated artist on their team to continue competing.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until the Semifinals air live next Monday night to find out which artists the coaches chose to bring back. This means there will be 12 artists total in the next round — three on each team.

The Voice will air over two days next week on NBC. Artists will perform on Monday, leaving fans to vote for their favorites overnight. Then on Tuesday night, the results of the vote will be revealed. Let us know in the comments below who you’ll be rooting for to earn a save from the coaches.
