As suggested by fans, Omar performed “I Want to Know What Love Is” during Monday night’s show. He started the performance at the piano before eventually standing up and walking around the stage as he sang. Omar brought incredible power and emotion to the ’80s ballad.
Coaches John Legend and Camila Cabello could be seen dancing along as Omar owned the stage. After the performance, the entire panel gave him a standing ovation. Cabello assured him that he wouldn’t be going home, calling his performance “euphoric.”
“You know, I just feel like you’re going from being an incredible singer to being somebody that connects with people’s hearts, and with their emotion,” Legend told Omar. “And I felt it even more this week. It feels spiritual when you’re singing.”
The coach went on to say that Omar has achieved his goal to “uplift people and inspire people.” He added, “You are just so special. You’re the reason The Voice exists. To hear voices like yours.”

Two Artists Will Go Home on Tuesday Night
The Top 10 artists performed on Monday night for America’s votes. On Tuesday night, two artists will go home during a live results show. The Top 8 artists will move on to next week’s Semifinals. The week after that, a winner will be crowned in the finale.
Blake Shelton entered the live shows with four artists on his team, and he’s kept all of them as the show has gone on. John Legend had three artists in the Top 10, while Gwen Stefani had two and Camila Cabello had one. It will be interesting to see how those numbers change on Tuesday night.
Monday’s show featured quite a few strong performances, including Kim Cruse’s cover of “Love on the Brain” by Rihanna, Morgan Myles’ take on “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton, and Bodie’s rendition of “Golden Hour” by JVKE.
