Howie Mandel Jokes That Sofia Vergara Is Looking for Love on ‘AGT’ Live Show

During Tuesday night’s first America’s Got Talent live show of the season, Howie Mandel made a comment about fellow judge Sofia Vergara’s relationship status. The actress recently announced her split from husband Joe Manganiello.
Howie Mandel Jokes About Sofia Vergara’s Love Life
The comment came while the judges were sharing their thoughts on young ventriloquist Brynn Cummings’ act. During the performance, Brynn asked judge Heidi Klum to help her pick a boyfriend for her puppet Penelope.
“If I have one word of advice,” Mandel told Brynn, “if you’re looking for eligible bachelors, you should have talked to Sofia, ’cause she’s in the market right now.”
The crowd seemed to have a mixed reaction to the comment, but Vergara herself didn’t seem bothered by it. She threw her hands in the air and shouted, “Yes!” Meanwhile, host Terry Crews tried to shut down the discussion, saying, “We are not doing that here now.”
The judges moved on with the critique, as Klum told Brynn, “Thank you that you picked me. I think I did a fantastic job, and so did you.”

Vergara Split from Her Husband Last Month
Last month, Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello announced their separation, and Manganiello later filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. Vergara has reportedly asked the court to uphold the couple’s prenuptial agreement.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple said in a statement at the time of their split. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Vergara and Manganiello have no children together, but there were reports last month that the couple was working out custody of their dog Bubbles. According to The Daily Mail, Vergara has agreed to let Manganiello keep the pup.
