Canceled Ellen DeGeneres Still Hasn’t Addressed NikkieTutorials Experience On Her Show
Nikkie came out as transgender in 2020 after she was blackmailed by a company. Her video went viral and she received an invitation to The Ellen Show. But her experience on the show was not all that she thought it would be. The YouTuber revealed that she could not even use the bathroom before the show. “Every guest at Ellen had a private toilet, but I didn’t,” she said in a previous YouTube video. “I couldn’t even use the closest toilet to me, because it was reserved for the Jonas Brothers. They were allowed, I wasn’t.”
Nikkie also expected a warm welcome from Ellen but revealed the host did not even say “hi” to her before the two talked on stage in front of the audience. The interview now has over 9.9 million views on YouTube.
Nikkie described The Ellen Show as being a different world. She agreed that it was “more cold and distant.” She finished speaking on the matter by saying the experience wasn’t as good as she thought. Many were hoping that Ellen would address the issues that Nikkie brought up but according to Nikkie, she never did.

In a recent YouTube video reflecting on the year 2020, Nikkie was asked “Do you think Ellen personally has found out about your experience on the show?” Nikkie answered “yes.” She then spoke about an article where a source said Ellen does not feel threatened by a bodyguard or a blogger. She thinks that the blogger being referenced here is probably her.
Nikkie Hopes Ellen Will Help Make The Backstage Environment Better
“So I definitely think she knows what my experience has been like and hopefully she’ll do something about it,” the 26-year-old said. “I have nothing against Ellen personally I just hope that things backstage have changed a little bit for the better and future guests. I hope that Ellen has been made aware of what’s going on and maybe she can help make it all better.”

This comes after Ellen was called out by former employees who said that the work environment of The Ellen Show is toxic. Employees accused the 62-year-old of turning a blind eye to sexual misconduct by top-level producers and racism backstage. Ellen who always encourages her audience to “be kind,” was said to be anything but by her current and former employees. After Warner Media conducted an investigation and found some of the claims to be true, she apologized to her staffers in an email and her show has returned to television.
