Diddy’s Home That He Shared With Kim Porter Was Burglarized
The burglar made their way into the home through a side door. This caused the security system to go off. A caretaker had noticed that someone had rummaged throughout the home and realized that someone broke in. A burglary report was filed but according to TMZ, a member of Diddy’s family has to come to see if anything is missing from the home. Diddy, who previously judged the singing competition The Four, does not often stay at this house.
Diddy and Kim were in an on again off again relationship for 13 years. The pair had three children together, twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila Star and a son Christian. In 2018, Kim was found dead in thee home at the age of 47 in 2018 after battling pneumonia. “One night I was checking on her, and she was like, ‘Puffy, take care of my babies,'” he said in an interview. “She actually said that to me before she died.” The pair had always remained friendly and spent the holidays together even when they weren’t romantically involved.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby” Diddy wrote on Instagram after KIm’s death. “I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you. I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE ON SOME OTHER SH*TT!! And I miss you so much.”
Burglars Have Been Targeting A-List Celebrity Homes
After news of the burglary broke, Diddy did not seem very phased on social media. He posted videos of himself on his Instagram story in a recording studio working on some music. But this burglary seems to be a part of a string of other attempts of breaking into A-list celebrity’s homes. This group of burglars allegedly bangs on fences and doors before attempting to break into homes. They tried to break into his home but their attempts failed. Four people were taken into custody after surveillance footage caught a suspicious SUV. Inside the vehicle, investigators found a backpack full of tools intended to be used during the burglary including crowbars. The $40 million mansion was once owned by Tom Brady and Giselle Bundchen.
“I will be out of the hospital and back home soon,” the rapper wrote on Instagram amidst the news of his hospitalization and attempted burglary. “Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
