Even though American Idol Season 19 has come to an end, the contestants are still performing together in shows all around the United States. Early standout Cassandra Coleman just announced her hometown show at The Mulehouse in Columbia, Tennessee. The folk singer is enlisting the help of some of her American Idol friends to perform during the exciting night.
Cassandra Coleman Announces Show with Epic Lineup Featuring ‘American Idol’ Alums
Cassandra captivated the judges during her audition of “The Way It Was” by The Killers. Many of us fans believed she would make it into this season’s Top 5. Despite her Disney Night elimination, Cassandra has always kept a positive outlook on her American Idol experience. She returned to the finale to perform with Lindsey Buckingham.
During the concert, Cassandra will be joined by her duet partner Wyatt Pike who decided to leave American Idol for “personal reasons” after making it to the Top 16. The Utah native has continued to post singing videos on social media as well as play a New York show with American Idol alums Julia Gargano and Louis Knight.
Season 19 contestant Graham DeFranco will also be performing at the show. Graham recently moved to Nashville after proving he was the MVP of the American Idol season. After being eliminated way too early in the competition, he jumped in at the last second to perform with Sheryl Crow at the finale. Arthur Gunn was originally slated to perform but backed out at the last second.
Two Other ‘Idol’ Stars Will Be Joining the July Show
Christina “Redd” Daugherty who was eliminated after her duet with Season 19 American Idol winner Chayce Beckham will be taking the stage at The Mulehouse as well. Since her elimination from the show, Redd has completed her first album Monsters & Mothers. She also underwent ACL surgery. She took some time off from playing gigs but is finally hopping back onto the music scene.
Rounding out the show lineup is Season 18’s Franklin Boone. Franklin was brought back this season for the controversial comeback twist. He delivered a strong performance of “Meant to Live” by Switchfoot. While it wasn’t enough to land him a spot in the Season 19 Top 10, he obviously made some awesome friends during his second time around.
Tickets are now available to purchase for this July 3 show. For those out there that can’t make it to the show, tickets to stream it virtually will be available soon. Fans also have the chance to purchase VIP meet and greet tickets. There will be food trucks and fireworks outside of the venue as well so do not miss this chance to see your favorites perform live!
