Deshawn Goncalves Promises this is Not the Last Time Fans Will See Him

Deshawn was one of the most consistent performers on this season of American Idol. The Jackson State University student knows this competition is only the beginning for him.

“This American Idol journey has meant everything to me and it’s really made me happy being here and doing what I love to do the most and this is not the end,” he said. “You will see more of me very soon.”

Fans of the 20-year-old from Cleveland took to the comments section to wish him well.

“Im broken hearted my Deshawn. I will see you outside! The whole world is waiting” one fan wrote.

He shared snap hanging out with other contestants from Season 19 ahead of his elimination.

Cassandra Coleman Has a Growing Fanbase After the Show

Cassandra has been humble and full of life throughout her American Idol journey.

“I just want to say that this experience has been beautiful and life-changing and has just set a whole new path for my life and I am so excited to continue with this musical journey,” she said. “Thank you for giving me this opportunity and getting me this far.”

Alyssa’s Elimination Came as a Shock but She is Keeping a Good Attitude

Alyssa’s elimination was by far the biggest shock of the night. The Perryville, Kentucky standout had fans hooked from the very beginning.

“My journey on American Idol has been truly life-changing and I just want to thank my fans and my family and everyone who has been supporting me thus far and I can’t wait to show y’all more,” she said.

The comments section was flooded with love for the teen who brought Lionel Richie to tears during her audition.

“Shocked about Alyssa. Thought she would go till the end!” one comment said.

Alyssa’s American Idol best friend Grace Kinstler remains in the competition along with Hunter Metts, Willie Spence, Chayce Beckham, Casey Bishop, Caleb Kennedy, and Arthur Gunn. Arthur was brought back in the new comeback twist that gave 10 Season 18 contestants the chance to earn their way back into the competition.
