Season 19 of American Idol hasn’t even started yet, but the competition is already shaping up to be fierce. Cassandra Coleman is one of the many talented artists vying for the coveted prize this season. Let’s find out a little bit more about this star on the rise.
Singer Cassandra Coleman Auditioned For Season 19 Of ‘American Idol’
Cassandra comes from the songwriting capital of the world, Nashville, Tennessee. She has often posted her music on social media for her loyal fans to enjoy. She particularly expressed her excitement leading into the year 2021, the year American Idol could change her life forever.
“Another year full of failing and learning and growing and working and dreaming. I hope I’m wiser and kinder than I was a year ago” she wrote on Facebook. “I’m having that cliché moment where you dwell on how you’re * nowhere* where you thought you’d be by this point, but still happy that it’s turned out this way. Each day is a blessing and I’m thankful for so many good, loving people in my life. Here’s to another year of learning how to be a better human.”

Cassandra has often encouraged her followers to join Smule, an app that allows you to sing karaoke-style songs with other people. After singing on the app for a while, they reached out to her to create a music video. She performed “Adore” by Jasmine Thompson. You can watch the music video that has a very whimsical feel down below to hear Cassandra’s tremendous singing talents. “That was the most beautiful performance I have ever heard or watched. Cassie is going to do huge things someday!!!” one person wrote in the comments section on the video.
Cassandra also just hit the studio ahead of the American Idol premiere. When she posted that she auditioned for the shows upcoming 19th season, her comments section flooded with love.
In another post, she shared that she was writing music.
How Will Cassandra Do In The Competition?
Based on all of the videos Cassandra has posted on social media including her YouTube channel, she will certainly be one of the frontrunners in the competition. We are hoping she will reprise her awesome song cover of “Wicked Game” at some point on the show. It’s one of her most popular videos thus far and is only expected to get more views and hype once American Idol airs.
