Benson Boone Releases New Single ‘Momma Song’
On Friday, Boone released his newest single, titled “Momma Song.” As you can probably guess from the title, the track is a tribute to Boone’s mother. The 22-year-old singer put out a music video to go with the song, which features footage from his childhood.
“Tell me your story and you can play all of your favorite songs / ’Cause I’m gonna need this when I’m holding pictures of you and that’s all that I’ve got left,” Boone sings on the emotional track. The video ends with him sitting at the piano with his mom.
The new song will be featured on Boone’s upcoming second studio album American Heart, due to be released on June 20. Other singles from the new project include “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” and “Mystical Magical.”

The performance also featured a cameo by Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser, who were previously featured in Boone’s Grammys performance earlier this year. Boone finished his energetic AMAs performance sitting on the stage steps, with pyrotechnics behind him.
Boone is gearing up to embark on a new 30-stop tour to accompany the release of his new album American Heart, kicking off in August. He will headline Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 5.
