RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is full of ferocious queens all vying for the crown this season. Their intricate runway looks have inspired some furry friends to dress in drag too. These dogs are basically The Canine Stars of drag!

Dogs Tackle ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Contestants Most Iconic Looks on Instagram

RuPawl is a teeny tiny chihuahua born in 2014 and adopted from the San Francisco SPCA shortly after. RuPawl’s real name is Xochitl. She first dressed in drag in 2017 and has become a social media phenomenon ever since. The adorable pup won a Webby Award for Best Social: Animals this year.

Ahead of the premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 6, RuPawl took on some of the contestants promo looks on Instagram. She looked fabulous dressed as Jan in a metallic dress. She also began dressing up in looks inspired by the challenge standouts from each episode of the show. Ra’Jah O’Hara’s blue look is simply iconic and Trinity K. Bonet’s goth look is vampire chic.

Last week, Ginger Minj dazzled the judges in a pop art dress with colorful pictures of her face on it. The bright yellow wig really made the whole look feel like she just popped out of a comic book. RuPawl wore her own version of the dress with her face printed on the fabric. She even has her own mini version of the wig.

Dr. José Ramón Lizárraga is the owner behind this incredible doggy drag queen. He decided to fuse his love for drag and passion for LGBTQ+ issues into an account for his dog. The account has since blown up, gaining recognition from some of the most famous RuPaul’s Drag Race queens.

RuPawl has been held by Vanessa Vanjie Mateo and met Michelle Visage. She has also met queens from the show like Ginger, Valentina, and Peppermint. RuPawl inspired a line of merch that was praised on social media by actress Andie MacDowell. She has even been invited to the coveted RuPaul’s Drag Race finale and red carpet.

Doggy Drag is the Newest Trend

RuPawl isn’t the only dog who has started doing drag. Miss Pickles The Drag Pug is a 10-year-old rescue pug with a knack for fashion. She also decided to put her own spin on Ginger’s pop art look from last week. Her tiny dress had photos of other dogs on it.

Throughout the season, Miss Pickles has worn looks inspired by Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Kylie Sonique Love, and Jan. She also has her own merch collection featuring her adorable face on any piece of clothing you’d ever want. Miss Pickles is constantly serving glamour to her 53,000 Instagram followers who love her looks.

She is a two-time survivor of mast cell cancer but has continued to show that she is a fighter. Her mom, Margaret Korka, began fostering her after getting her from a pug rescue in Toronto. They have both been blown away by the fame achieved from showing love for RuPaul’s Drag Race. Pickles has starred in a Super Bowl ad and a music video for The Masked Singer winner T-Pain.
