‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Hamster, Mallard Costumes for Season 6

The Masked Singer has finally acknowledged the hints given to fans in their recent trailer. The Mallard and Hamster costumes were finally revealed after the teaser trailer that has been out for almost a month. Magician and Banana Split, we’re still waiting for you.
The sixith season of The Masked Singer is just around the corner. With the Dalmatian football player already revealed, it’s about time for FOX to release more teasers for the upcoming season. These costumes definitely do not lack in detail, fans are already beginning to guess who could be underneath them.
The Hamster Rocks Multicolored Headphones and Giant Beaded Necklace
On August 11 The Masked Singer shared two new videos about costumes for the upcoming season on Instagram. These announcements looked visually similar, featuring a magazine cover with the costume on it. The song underneath the video is The Masked Singer’s theme song.
The front of the magazine says “Who is this cheeky Masked Singer?” then follows up with “This Masked Singer got our wheels spinning.” This animation has a bunch of fun phrases, quotes, and even pictures of our celebrity panel.
Fans of The Masked Singer went wild in the comments over these costumes. They immediately shared who they thought Hamster could be. Hamster is wearing a set of bedazzled headphones and a giant multi-colored necklace. Perhaps Mardi Gras beads? There is a very high possibility this costume reveals a celebrity who is known for their style. My guess is that the Hamster might be someone in the fashion industry.
Fans commented on this post guessing the different rappers that could be in this costume. I didn’t immediately think the celebrity could be a rapper or DJ, but I definitely could see it after reading the comments. People in the comments connected the headphones with being a rapper or DJ.
The Mallard Features a Monocle, Cane, and Top Hat
This costume was also a hint in the teaser that was released almost a month ago, and it had quite a discussion behind it. People couldn’t figure out if this was a bird, duck or mallard. We now know that it is a Mallard, and they’re pretty proper.
This advertisement is extremely similar to Hamster in the way that it is designed, but has different quotes. “Who is this plucky Masked Singer?” then it follows up with “this Masked Singer is gonna fly through the competition!”
This costume is posing for the camera with a cane in this video. They seem extremely proper with how they’re standing. People took the way it’s using the cane, and the fact that it has a top hat and monocle into consideration when guessing who this celebrity could be.
If I had to guess, I would think that this character could be an older competitor. It’s possible the cane isn’t a style choice and it’s something they actually need to get around.
Some fans thought that this could be someone from the tv/film industry related to a duck in some way. People guessed David McCallum (from NCIS), Ed Helms (The Office), and more. I can’t wait to see who the Mallard is later this season!
