The Masked Singer Group B is full of colorful characters ready to show off their vocal chops. Before getting to hear any of these contestants sing, fans think they cracked the code as to which celebrities are under the masks. Some of the fan guesses are even more ambitious than Ken Jeong’s guesses.
People seem to have forgotten that Kermit the Frog is still the biggest celebrity reveal in the show’s history. Yes, in The Masked Singer standards, a literal puppet is more famous than Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke. Fans believe multiple mega-stars will be unmasked this season. Unfortunately, talent shows have budgets. It’s still fun to speculate. Here are some of the best (wrong) guesses for Group B so far.
The Wildest Guesses for ‘The Masked Singer’ Group B
1. Who is Cupcake?
Cupcake has the most vibrant costume out of The Masked Singer Group B contestants. Because of the red lipstick, multiple people think it is Gwen Stefani under the mask. The Voice coach and fashion maven is about to kick off her Las Vegas residency in October.
Another celebrity that has been frequently guessed is Britney Spears. The recently engaged pop diva has been making headlines for her conservatorship battle all year long. On Instagram, one fan of the show confidently guessed rapper Nicki Minaj, fresh off of her legal drama with husband Kenneth Petty.
2. Who is Banana Split?
The Masked Singer fans truly do believe Stefani will be on the show this season. They think she is in the Banana Split couple’s costume with her husband Blake Shelton. Shelton is currently coaching Season 21 of The Voice on rival network NBC.
Other guesses for Banana Split include Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. We’ll be on the lookout for the word “entanglement” in their clue package. Despite Ice Cream doing a split in the promo images, some fans guessed that Elton John and David Furnish are under the mask. The guess that tops the list is Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, one of Hollywood’s most private couples.
3. Who is Mallard?
Mallard’s guesses are really all over the place. Hugh Jackman was born to perform. The Greatest Showman star is a triple threat and would be fantastic to watch on this show.
Rapper Eminem is another fan guess from Instagram. I’m not entirely sure how anyone arrived at this conclusion, but I think it’s amazing. Mallard’s regal outfit gave some fans Regé-Jean Page vibes. Page is the most in-demand actor in Hollywood right now and is rumored to be taking over the role of James Bond.
4. Who is Dalmatian?
Dalmatian is one of the contestants that many are convinced is an athlete. We’ve already seen so many great singing athletes on the show. Four-time NBA champion LeBron James is the most-guessed celebrity on Dalmatian’s YouTube video teaser. There were a couple of Michael Jordan guesses and Michael B. Jordan guesses. Fans would probably be happy with either one.
One of the internets frequently guessed celebrities each season is seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, the current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. Maybe he’ll be skipping practice this week to throw a watch party for The Masked Singer Group B episode.
5. Who is Queen of Hearts?
The Queen of Hearts costume literally looks like it was made for Katy Perry. It fits her vibe, especially after all of the crazy stuff we have seen her wear in the past.
By far, the top guess (and most over-the-top guess) for this contestant is Celine Dion. Fans are so sure that Dion will be belting her way through The Masked Singer this season. The five-time Grammy winner will be starring in a Las Vegas residency beginning on Nov. 5. She also just started production on her official documentary, so not likely to commit to a show like this right now.
