The winner of The Voice Season 30 will receive a new honor — performing at the 2027 Governors Ball music festival in 2027. The new season of the singing competition is expected to premiere this fall on NBC.
According to Variety, a partnership between Live Nation Studios, the Governors Ball music festival, and The Voice means that the winner of Season 30 will perform on the main stage at the New York City festival in 2027.
The outlet points out that this is technically the festival’s first booking for next year. The 2026 festival just took place this past weekend at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, with Lorde, Baby Keem, Stray Kids, Kali Uchis, A$AP Rocky, and Jennie headlining.
Season 30 of The Voice is expected to premiere on NBC in September, although a specific date has yet to be announced. We’ll find out the season’s winner when the finale airs in December.
“At its core, ‘The Voice’ has always been about shining a light on undiscovered talent, giving rising artists a platform to showcase their vocal prowess and develop their stage presence,” showrunner Audrey Morrissey said in a statement. “Joining forces with Live Nation Studios and Governors Ball allows us a unique opportunity to take this exposure to the next level for our ‘Voice’ champion.”

Who’s Coaching the New Season?
Season 30 of The Voice will feature two longtime coaches and two new coaches. Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine will both be returning to their spinning red chairs after appearing on Season 29 earlier this year. Levine was the winning coach with his artist Alexia Jayy.
The season will also feature iconic musician and actress Queen Latifah as a new coach, along with country star Riley Green. This season marks a return to the four-coach panel, after Season 29’s Battle of Champions only featured three coaches.
