Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are finally celebrating something that is long overdue. They attended a party at the BMI Creative Patio to recognize Shelton’s 27th and 28th Country Airplay No. 1 singles. “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere” both feature Stefani, and helped get fans through the Covid-19 pandemic with their positive messages.

Blake Shelton Celebrates Successful Collaborations with Gwen Stefani

“Nobody But You” was Shelton and Stefani’s third collaboration. A music video for the song was released in January 2020. It was co-written by Ross Copperman, Tommy Lee James, Josh Osborne, and Songland’s Shane McAnally. “Nobody But You” marked Stefani’s first No. 1 country song, now with over 83 million streams on Spotify.

Osborne, Copperman, and Matt Jenkins co-wrote “Happy Anywhere.” The songwriters were all honored during the event this week. Stefani and Shelton posed for pictures with everyone who helped make the songs possible. She earned her second No. 1 country song with the romantic hit. When Shelton and Stefani perform together on a track, their fans are always absolutely obsessed with it.

After the party, Shelton went on to perform at Bridgestone Arena as a part of his Friends and Heroes Tour. He has been having quite a huge week, also celebrating a ton of milestones in his 20-year long career. He was gifted with a giant plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America that mapped out all of his achievements.

Shelton’s 20-Year Career Began with ‘Austin’

Sefani posted a photo with Shelton holding the plaque over on her Instagram account. He has achieved 13 million RIAA Album Awards and 52 million RIAA Singles. The border of the plaque includes album covers and singles that have been huge hits throughout his career. Shelton just released his 12th studio album this year called Body Language. “Happy Anywhere” is included on the album.

He recently commemorated 20 years since he released “Austin,” his very first No. 1 song. So much has changed for the cowboy since that first successful song. Shelton has dominated all major award shows including 10 CMA Award wins. He has also been a dominant force on The Voice, bringing home his eighth win with Cam Anthony in Season 20.

Stefani is very proud of Shelton’s achievements. She wrote, “it’s hard to explain what it feels like to get up on stage w @blakeshelton and sing 2 number one country radio hits Live in Nashville! never saw it coming but wow i’ll take it ! thank u @blakeshelton.”

Stefani has joined Shelton on stage for most of his Friends and Heroes Tour dates so far to perform their huge hits. Shelton will be returning to The Voice for Season 21 on Sept. 20. His latest accomplishements give him one more thing to boast about to the other coaches that might help pursuade artists to join his team.
