Instagram Taylor Swift decided to close out 2020 in the best way she knows how. The singer is dropping a surprise album for her millions of fans all over the world tonight. But Swifties are convinced that’s not even the biggest thing happening in Taylor’s life at the moment. They speculate that she and her boyfriend Joe Alwyn secretly got married.
Did Taylor Swift And Joe Alwyn Secretly Get Married?
Taylor and Joe have kept their relationship pretty private since they began dating in 2016. Over the course of their relationship, fans have speculated that Taylor has made subliminal references to Joe in her songs. In her “…Ready For It?” music video, Taylor had references to the numbers 91 and 21, the year and day in February that Joe was born. But aside from all of the little references over the years, Taylor just dropped one major clue.

She announced that she will be dropping the sister album to Folklore tonight. Joe co-wrote two of the songs under a pseadoynym on the previous album. She posted a picture and a caption to say that the music video for her song “Willow” is also dropping along with the album. But in the picture, Taylor is wearing what looks to be a wedding dress. Of course, everyone’s first instinct is to assume that she and Joe secretly got married.
A member of Joe’s family was asked if the pair tied the knot. “I’m sorry, I’m not going to say anything,” they told the Daily Mail. Even Joe’s family is keeping their relationship hush. So the speculation continues about whether or not Taylor will drop a bombshell about getting married along with her album release.
Fans Truly Believe Taylor Might Have Had A Secret Wedding
After a ton of legal drama, Taylor recently re-recording her song “Love Story.” Swifties pointed out that it sounds like she changed the lyrics “It’s a love story baby just say yes” to “It’s a love story baby just said yes” to imply that Joe proposed. Taylor revealed the tracklist of the album which many feel is also a clue to what is going on in her personal life.

“Calling it now. #TaylorSwift and Joe got married. Could easily be a wedding dress and can’t see her ring finger on her left hand. #evermore… forever, until the end of time, until death do us part. Taking it a step further and saying she’s pregnant with a daughter, Willow” another wrote.
