The Voice Recap: Final Battles
Reading Time: 2 minutes
It’s night 4 of The Voice Battles and we have officially reached the end… until the knockouts, of course. With many fan favorites and a minimum number of steals, this season lost a few solid singers. Nonetheless, each singer rose to the plate and delivered their best performance. Let’s get into it.

Stephanie vs Jackie (Team Adam)
Putting two of his strongest female voices head to head, Adam has a tough choice ahead. Singing These Dreams seemed appropriate as this performance would possibly lead to the next stepping stone of their time on The Voice. In rehearsals, Jackie had to channel her nerves and Julia Michaels’ advice was to create an alter ego while being on stage. Although both did a phenomenal job, Adam was blown away by Jackie’s quick growth and said she has an “untapped talent waiting to evolve.” So, he decided to take his country singer to the next round. This was the end of the road for Stephanie, and we were sad to see her go.
Winner: Jackie

Livia vs Terrence (Team Alicia)Â
Though this pair might not look like they have a lot in common, their singing styles connect beautifully and made us forget there was a competition on stage. Both are soft-spoken singers, so Alicia picks the song Stars to fully showcase their strengths. Alicia compliments Livia on her maturity and presence, and Terrence on his “magic to draw people in a quiet way.” At the end of the battle, Alicia chooses Terrence and unfortunately, there are no steals left to save Livia.

The next part of the show consisted of a montage between three different groups. Gary vs Angel, with Gary winning the battle on Team Adam. On Blake’s team, he has Brett vs Austin and says he has to choose the person who can handle the pressure and picks Austin. And last of the montage is Alexa vs Hannah, which was as an easy decision for Kelly because Hannah had to leave for personal reasons.
Winner: Gary, Austin, and AlexaÂ

Spensha vs. Dallas (Team Blake)Â
Singing, I Could Use a Love Song, these two country artists on Blake’s team brought a different vibe to the song. The judges said they sensed nerves from Dallas, however, they were still very pleased with her performance, with Adam saying she has untapped potential. Blake says he thinks Spensha could turn country music around on its ear and chooses Spensha. However, it’s not the end of the road for Dallas as she now joins Alicia’s team.
Winner: Spensha / Steal: Dallas joins Team AliciaÂ
